AClass English language school offers General, Intensive and English For the Young at Heart English courses at 5 levels. Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1).

Please note that absolute beginners are required to take between 1 and 2 weeks of private One-to-One English lessons before being placed in a Elementary class.

We offer institutions, organisations and groups from the same country or area a Special Group arrangement.These group courses can be for General English students, teachers groups or groups which need English for a special purpose (ESP). Contact us directly for this option.

The maximum number of students in an adult class is 12. On average expect between 6-8 students in winter months and a full class during peak season.

General English

This course is our most popular and great value for money

This course follows the guidelines set out by the Common European Framework and is designed to give you a solid introduction to the English language. It devotes special attention to communicating in English so that you can use what you learn in the classroom the moment you step out the door.

There is clear focus on grammar and vocabulary with plenty of colloquial language, idioms and high frequency phrases. There is plenty of speaking and using English to communicate in real life situations. This includes work on pronunciation and use of idioms and colloquial expressions which are integrated into our topic-based lessons.

AClass teachers will make sure you practise the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. This is done in a supportive environment using conventional texts and audio equipment, role-play, problem solving, discussions and collaborative tasks. This will help you develop confidence and language structures in a meaningful and supportive environment with your classmates. All course materials are provided.

General Intensive English

Improve your English with General Intensive English

This includes all of the standard General English course with a further two lessons of English per day. AClass’ General Intensive English shifts its focus to developing English Language fluency and accuracy in the last two lessons of the day. This helps speed up the learning process which means you can see results much faster. All course materials are provided.
