Host Families
As a home away from home, living with one of our host families gives you a unique opportunity to experience Maltese family life, traditions and customs. Your English will also improve much faster as you are surrounded by English speakers and immersed in the language. All AClass Host Families are carefully selected and monitored to ensure that standards laid out by the Malta Tourism Authority are met and exceeded. Most of our host families are within walking distance of the school.
Choose this option if you you are easy-going and are looking for a budget option. Remember you will be expected to integrate with the families way of life so you will need to be a little flexible.

Tips for Students choosing Host family accommodation
3 Star Hotel
For those students who would prefer to enjoy more privacy during their stay here, we offer accommodation in a wide range of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels.
Most of the hotels are situated in Sliema and the St. Julian's area. These are very central areas, close to all amenities and conveniently located along the coast, meaning you can enjoy the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean on your doorstep. Buses run frequently to most places on the island, meaning if you prefer not to walk to school every morning, you can easily hop on a bus to get to us.
All hotels are equipped with heating/air conditioning, minibar, cable television and direct dial telephone. Some of the hotels provide a free WiFi service and have a gym and/or swimming pool. Contact us for more info.
Hostel
We also work with a family-run hostel situated in St Julian's. This is just a short bus ride away from our school, and buses pass along the coast every 10 minutes.This small, friendly hostel has plenty of outdoor space and includes use of kitchen facilities and lovely garden area with happocks and a BBQ. There is also a lounge area equipped with a TV and DVD's that can be used. The hostel welcomes an international mix of traveller. The hostel also provides lockers, bedlinen and WiFi free of charge.
Self - Catering Apartments
We also work with a company in Gzira who offer small self-catering apartments. Single bedroom apartments are available as well as apartments for up to 4 people. Gzira is a central town and is situated between Sliema and Malta's capital Valletta. Buses pass frequently along the coast and it will take you approximately 20-25 minutes to get to the school. Room facilities include, direct dial telephone, TV, internet outlet for dial-up connection, a fridge and use of communal kitchen. WiFi and the laundry service are also available at a minimal charge.
We suggest that you book your accommodation in Malta in advance to avoid disappointment since the number of apartments is limited.
